I have this not only because I wanted wireless, but also loved the idea of a better range and reception. And it connected immediately, and show the movement much bigger than my wii-motes. . . BUT. . . and this is a huge but for me anyway. . . “protector of the battery.” . . is an automatic shutdown feature. You only have two options. . . 1 hour or 2 hours. After that time off. I guess it’s okay for some people who do not meet very long periods, or they do not mind switching to every two hours to get back on. . . but for someone like me who is disabled, walk as little as possible, and play for 5-6 hours at a time sometimes it’s a huge hassle! But now, I have to walk farther for every two hours at least, to activate the sensor bar! Irritating! Is back for a refund as soon as possible! NOT recommended because the function! We have one of these second-hand with our Wii, and it’s horrible. It eats batteries at any time, and two metal tabs that make contact with the batteries broke the first time I had to change them (I have to package them with additional bits of metal now, very picky). I am not a heavy handed, it just broke. Maybe they were mistreated by the previous owner, and perhaps not the poor performance of battery contact duradero.En very top of the battery issue, the thing itself turns off after 1 or 2 hours what is really annoying if you’re in the midst of a hectic little games. It does what it says. I had another wireless sensor bar before that worked only from a few feet away. This works very well from our couch. Other reviews mentioned a problem with the battery power contactors and metal inside the battery compartment, so I was a bit apprehensive. My 4yo can load batteries into this without any problems. This is a must have Wii for me. Rating: 5 / 5
Bought this after I took the cable to the sensor bar age in a vacuum and ruined it. This works very well and the range is perfect! I’m going to replace some batteries in this about the sensor bar wired age at any time. Rating: 4 / 5
